I consider myself a food lover.

Even though it sounds like a paradox: If you really value food, you'll stay or become lean. because you won't be happy with mass-produced food from a chain or microwave, lousy cafeteria food, or similar fare. You believe in freshly cooked food with high quality ingredients: Enjoy your food quietly at the dinner table, rather than standing or gobbling it in front of the TV. You won't waste calories on the food that isn't really delicious.
