Universal Studios Hollywood theme park in Los Angeles California

It's a 100th Aniversary Celebration in Universal Studios Holywood. I was surprised about that. I never knew that Universal Studios in Los Angeles California got 100 now. Only Universal Studios lets you ride the movies and go behind the scenes of a real working movie studio. Experience movie magic at it best. The studio theme park has rides like Shrek and Jurassic Park. Various performances occur throughout the day. Get an inside look at the movie sets and uncover the secrets of legendary films on the world-famous studio tour. Explore all Universal Studios Hollywood rides, shows and attractions like Transformer: The Ride-3D, Studio Tour, King Kong 360 3-D, Revenge of the Mummy – The Ride, Shrek 4-D, Jurassic Park — The Ride,The Adventures of Curious George, Terminator 2: 3D, WaterWorld, Special Effects Stage, Universal’s Animal Actors, House of Horrors, The Blues Brothers, Characters in the Park and many more.

Universal Studios is a mixture of live action shows and rides. Visited on a Sunday on 7/22/12. It got really crowded in the afternoon.

Pros: Three good rides, Transformers, the Mummy, and Jurassic Park. Two good shows: Waterworld and the Studio Tour.

OK: Animal Show and Terminator 2-D and Special Effects Show.

Bad: The Simpsons ride. Made me motion sick, otherwise would have been just so-so. It is a virtual simulator ride that suffers compared to Transformers.

Shrek 4-D. Basically watching a 3-D film with additional effects. I think I fell asleep.

Front of the Line pass. Is it worth it? I think only if you have a limited time to view the park and you get there late. If you get into the park by 8 AM, then you basically can do all the rides. It doesn't get really busy until 11 AM or so. The negatives of the Front of the line pass is that you only get to do the ride once. The positives is that you really do cut to the front of the line. Just as enjoyable as the ride is cutting past 1 hour of wait. We got the pass and it was good since we got to ride the rides twice. We did not use the pass in the morning, but used it when it was really crowded.

For the shows, you also get to cut in line, but I think if you got in line for a show maybe 10-15 minutes early, you got a good seat. The only "show" where this does not work is the studio tour.

Note: for the Mummy ride, you are limited in what size bag you can carry onto the rollercoaster. If it is larger than a small rectangular pack, then you have to put it in the free locker by the ride, which can be hard to get too.

If I were to go again, this would be my plan of attack:

1) Get to park prior to opening and do the rides. Hit the Simpsons ride if it is open first since that is a slow loading line.
2) Do Transformers, The Mummy, and Jurassic Park. Multiple times.
3) Maybe around 10:30 , do the Studio tour. You will probably have a wait.
4) Go to Citywalk and get lunch after the tour.
5) Do Waterworld, Terminator, animal show, special effects, Shrek show depending on timing.

If you were able to buy the online tickers that allow you to go 2 days for the price of one. I would consider leaving early and coming back again another day and doing the studio tour earlier.

Building Up Muscles Are Easy With The Right Kind Of Foods

Bulking up isn't complicated as one thinks. However, the massive amount of information on weight training and body building tend to confuse rather that help those who are just starting out. The truth is muscle building requires some basic knowledge on diet and nutrition: training is only half of it. You need to have a healthy muscle-building diet in order to get the proper nutrition that the body required to build up muscle. Otherwise, no matter how hard you train, the result will be very limited.

Protein.
It’s common knowledge that when someone wants to get ripped, they need to load up on protein. Why? Because during working, the muscles get stressed, torn, and even broken down. Protein, aside from being the basic raw material for muscle, is also responsible for repairing, maintaining, and building muscle. It is also the body's second resource for energy after carbohydrates.
In order to build more muscle, you need to vary your resources of protein. Proteins are made up of 20 amino acids necessary for body growth, eight of which are the "essential amino acid" called such because nutrients are not produced by the body and can only be sourced from food. Beef, Chicken, eggs, milk, fish, and just about anything else that can be derived from animals are just some of the excellent sources of essential amino acids.

Carbohydrates.
You cannot build muscle without carbohydrates. Carbs are the body's primary source of energy, and you need more carbs if you want to exercise longer and lift heavier weights. Depriving you body of the right about of carbs after an intensive workout will result to the body using the proteins needed to build muscles as energy sources instead. You should know which type of carbs you need to eat. Simple carbs like those found in fruits and sugar will give you only a burst of energy. Go for complex carbs like found in whole grain foods like brown bread, rice, pasta and potatoes because they provide long lasting fuel necessary for physical activities.
Fats.
Fats are important because they increase testosterone. Well, according to the books, it's a major muscle-building hormone. Not all fats are the same, though. There are the monosaturated fats and Omega 3 fatty acids that are food for your health which are found in olive oil, nuts, and fishes like salmon and tuna. The ones to avoid are saturated fats and Trans fats, which are commonly present in meat fats, junk foods and fast foods.

Water.
Muscle is 70 to 75 percent water, 20 percent protein, and five percent carbohydrates, minerals and other nutrients. This means we all need water to build up our muscles. Good hydration also yields better workouts.

L-Glutamine
L-glutamine is an amino acid, but of all the 20 amino acids required by the body, 60 percent of those found in the muscles are glutamine. This amino acid not only helps maintain muscle mass but also helps in burning fats.
